Thank you! These videos were originally shared in my classroomn at JessicaSprague.com. I've moved on to other projects so I've put them on my blog for free to everyone to have access too. About the closest thing to the forums here are comments on posts, but there is very little support as my time here is extremely limited. I wish you all the best in your organizing endeavors. I know you can find a lot of great photo organizers out there that can give you some great advice. The LOM forum is a good place I know the forums at JessicaSprague.com are also full of amazing and helpful people.

What a lovely post!

I found you via Heather at the Dragon's Den and I've been watching some of your videos on iphoto organization all morning! You are so helpful! Thank you!

You said that if we have questions, to ask them in the "forum"... which forum? I am a member of the Library of Memories (Stacy Julian- Big Picture Classes) forum- is that the one?

I am just starting my tagging and starring and keywording :) and I don't want to do it wrong so I'm wondering what keywords will help me most. I'm thinking family member names? Not sure I want to get too specific, but I'm not really sure? I have iphoto6 so I don't think my version has FACES but I SO wish it did! That looks awesome!!

So happy to have found your site:) Thank you!

ScanCafe.com - believe me it was hard to part with them but seriously I've trusted them with my most precious images and happily have known where they were every step of the way thanks to ScanCafe's step by step tracking/email updates. Right now I have six different orders in for different projects. It is going to cost me a small fortune but if I don't outsource I don't think I will ever get this done. (I've been carrying these photos around for over ten years!) Hope that helps!

I have tons of old photos that I have inherited over the years too. A few years ago, I sat down with my grandmother, 99 now, and we went through who was in the photos and where and when they were taken. It was so cool to go back to another time and place and relive those memories with her. I have wanted to begin organizing them in a functional way, but the task just seems overwhelming. The idea of outsourcing them to a digital format seems promising, but hate parting with my images. Who do you trust with those precious memories?
