Video Tutorial: Flypaper Photo Textures in Photoshop and PSE
By kaylal on in Photography with No Comments
The past few days I have been having so much fun playing with the Flypaper Photo Textures I thought I should write another post here and reference my previous tutorial post. To my dismay, I learned that I hadn’t yet moved it to this blog – so today you get both in one post.
My favorite photo transformation from yesterday – you can see the results above (I used the aqua sparkles and leaky garret from the Tex Box One collection). Here is the before with just the basic edits in Lightroom:
I love these textures – combine them with blending modes and opacity and you can take a photo to art rather quickly. I don’t want to leave you without the how-to so below is the original post with tutorial in both Photoshop and Photoshop Elements – enjoy!

I am so excited about today’s tutorial! I found these textures a few months ago and I am so excited to show you all how to use them in photos for your layouts. I am sharing not only videos for both Photoshop CS3 and Photoshop Elements, I have also added a 4×6 Photo Overlay Freebie and written instructions that you can download for both CS and PSE!

I wanted to follow you to your new blog and I think I did it correctly. The thing is I’m not sure.
I’ll keep my fingers crossed. Is there no longer anything at the original “101″ ?

Jackie – I have you on my new subscriber list so you should be good to go! You will be getting posts via email.
There is still content over on the Ning site, however, it will be deleted this coming month so I wanted to make sure you all knew where to find the old content. I have re-blogged the content here and now it is pretty much completely search-able by Categories on the right side of the page. So if you are looking for tutorials on “Blending Modes” you just click on that Category and every post related to or teaching Blending Modes will show up. Hopefully a lot easier to find the older and good content.
Thanks for following me here. Hope you enjoy the posts!
these are so wonderful – i have learned more in such a easy way than in the the studing in the last few months- thank you – cyn mcdonald
