Kayla is one of those teachers that you will be very glad to have found. She has a great style of teaching, she breaks things down so that each step is understandable. She is very willing to answer individual questions and will continue to work with you until your problem is solved. Don’t miss a chance to take one of her classes, you won’t regret it.

I love Kayla’s classes, but most importantly I like her as a person! She is an awesome teacher, organizer, enabler and practical woman.

The clarity of her videos goes beyond compare – she is very detailed oriented which really helps for some of us who also are the same way.

I would take any of her classes in a heart beat!

By the time I had listened to Kayla’s episode on The Digishow about organization, I was literally scrapping just by kit, and not mixing or matching. I had bought tons of element packs I was not using. She talked about using Lightroom to organize her supplies and after asking my own questions about her system, reading the comments on that show, etc, I decided to take the plunge. I watched all her videos on Organizing with Lightroom (on her blog) and then got to work.
Let me say–Kayla has a way with explaining things that is very clear to my cluttered, overthinking mind. I find her to be an excellent instructor, especially since (A) I was working with a lower version of Lightroom than her; and (B) I was on an ancient desktop PC. But I understood everything and even better, adapted it to my needs and preferences. Her system allows for some flexibility which I totally appreciate and am grateful for.

I’ve been following Kayla Lamoreaux for a few years now and have always been inspired by her teaching style.  She definitely has the “heart of a teacher”!  I get so lost in the “techie” side of computers and software. I have enjoyed how she patiently addresses each and every question and brings them down to layman terms – even when she has been asked the same question a billion times.

Learning photo flow has changed my life.  My 10-year-old son wanted to give his dad a card and wanted photos with just him and his dad.  I was able to produce several photos within mili-seconds and what a fantastic Father’s Day card he created!!  I am so pleased that I am making sense of my 25,000 images by applying metadata and keywords.  I am at peace with using my “delete” key and most important I have “insurance coverage” by FINALLY having backup plan in place.

One of the great things about Kayla’s class is it covers multiple photo organizing software. If you are thinking of getting started or making a change, Finding Photo Flow is a great place to investigate various options and find the one that suits your needs and goals. It is definitely not a one size fits all approach, you can be as general or detailed as you want, and Kayla gives you the information and support your needs to get photo files organized and create a system that works for you.

I’m a very busy SAHM with 4 children & also working part time in my husband’s business. My time is truly maxed out, but I’ve been trying to gather all my information to do my projects. I’m a paper scrapbooker for about 5 yrs & have been trying to convert over to digital for the past 2 years, but I’m very organized with my pics and almost with my digi kits…Kayla’s information has truly been invaluable in assisting me with this challenge. I have LR3 & loved her blog tutorials.

I’ve known Kayla for a few years now and she’s awesome. She’s patient, kind, generous and thoughtful. In the time I’ve known her she always puts her students and clients first, but is not afraid to take of herself so she has energy to give to those around her. In a world where people are often consumed only with themselves, Kayla is the first to take other’s fears, expectations and needs into consideration as she structures her classes.

I can’t think of anyone with more integrity and optimism than Kayla. Her driving force is God, family, and service to those around her. Just the best teacher, friend or mentor anyone could ever choose to have. I’m proud to know her and suggest if you get the chance, that you take a class or get to know her too.

I believe Kayla is the best instructor online. The reasons: her voice is very clear, she is articulate, she doesnt rush, she covers all bases of a lesson and answers questions asked clearly, and she doesn’t waste time.

Kayla gives much more than expected in the way of information and her time. She took time to answer questions asked. She encouraged me at times when I thought I had bitten off more than I could chew.
She introduced Lightroom to me for free.  She did the tough work of using this program in ways to organize photos and scrapbooking supplies on one platform and in one place.  I have been and continue to be in awe of her expertise.  I’m still learning and keep working on becoming proficient…not there by a long way…but it’s nice to know she is still here.
Another benefit of Kayla’s classes is being able to learn from other students.  Kayla is meticulous in answering all questions and this broadens the scope of learning.

I have followed Kayla’s blog for several years now. Almost 2 years ago, I took her Lightroom supply organization class. I learned so much from that class! I use those skills everyday while using Lightroom, and organizing my supplies and photos.

While I was working my way through that class, sometimes I would send Kayla an email asking her a question, and she would always get back to me with an answer. I felt like I had someone there rooting for me and encouraging me along the way. After the supply class, I then signed up for her Finding Photo Flow class. I continue to organize my photos and again, always know that Kayla is there if I need a question answered.

Kayla is an amazing teacher who loves what she does. Her tutorials are easy to follow and very well explained. She has a knack for teaching that just makes you “get” whatever it is she’s teaching about. Not only is she a wonderful teacher, she is also a wonderful motivator.

When I was in a mojo, she would say just the right thing to help get my creative juices flowing. She is always there to lend a hand if you don’t understand something. I enjoyed the time I spent with her. She is an amazing person and her knowledge of her craft is what enhances her experiences as a teacher.

Kayla has been so very generous with her knowledge!  Her blog is a treasure trove of information and her Photo Flow class is worth more than she charges!  No where else have I seen such a thorough presentation on photography workflow and organization. Also, she’s almost always available, unlike with most online classes.  Kayla has put her heart into her work and has both inspired me and taught me a lot.
